Dr. Dunn graduated from Abilene Christian University and went on to complete his dental studies at Baylor College of Dentistry. An active supporter of education, Dr. Dunn believes that you should never stop learning. He participates in continuing education activities regularly in order to stay current with advances in dentistry. His involvement with numerous professional organizations provides ample opportunities for continued studies.
Dr. Dunn has been honored by the Irving Chamber of Commerce as the Best Dentist in Irving for 7 years. He was named one of D Magazine's Best Dentists in 2015. If you ask him, though, his greatest honor is being trusted with the dental health of Irving families.
As a lifelong Texan, Dr. Dunn values his involvement in the Irving community. Dr. Dunn and his wife, Connie are active members of the Christ Church and volunteer as board members of the Irving Symphony, and have supported IISD as PTA officers. In honor of outstanding contributions to the City of Irving they have been awarded the High Spirited Citizen Award.
In addition to supporting local endeavors, the Dunn dental family has been actively involved in the Crown Council, an association of dentists who are committed to education, excellence in dentistry and charitable giving. Through the Crown Council, Dr. Dunn and his team often participated in one of dentistry's biggest charity drives each year — the Smiles for Life event. Because 100% of the proceeds go to children's charities, the opportunity to make a big impact is great.
A native of San Antonio, TX, Dr. Dunn has called Irving his home for the past 41 years. He and his wife, Connie, have four married children and nine grandchildren. Spending time with family and enjoying the grandchildren keep the Dunns busy. They enjoy going to movies, traveling and discovering new countries and cultures, and gardening. During his free time, Dr. Dunn enjoys fishing and sailing on his boat with Connie and their dog Gabby.

Ashley Zimmerer grew up on a North Texas farm, where hard work and a strong sense of family shaped her approach to life and work. Those early years taught her patience, attention to detail, and the value of steady, dependable care, qualities she brings to every hygiene appointment.
Her clinical practice centers on practical prevention. Ashley emphasizes daily habits like proper brushing technique, effective flossing, and sensible at-home care that minimize disease risk and preserve natural tooth structure. During appointments, she focuses on identifying early signs of gum disease, enamel wear, and other issues that respond well to conservative treatment, prioritizing noninvasive measures when possible.
Ashley regularly participates in continuing education and works closely with the dentists and clinical staff to coordinate care. Whether preparing a patient for periodontal maintenance, supporting restorative procedures, or assisting with oral cancer screenings, she contributes observations and technical expertise that help the team deliver cohesive care. She adapts her approach for nervous patients, slowing down, using gentle techniques, and explaining each step.
Outside the office, Ashley is an active parent who enjoys cooking and gardening, hobbies that mirror her clinical philosophy: small, regular actions lead to meaningful results over time.
Han joined the clinical team in November 2023, bringing a calm presence and a patient-focused mindset. From day one she has made it a priority to learn each patient's concerns and to build trust through clear explanations and steady, reassuring care.
Preventive dentistry is at the core of Han's practice. She emphasizes thorough cleanings, careful plaque and stain removal, and targeted education that helps patients reduce risks like gum disease and tooth decay. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all advice, she tailors home-care plans, brushing technique, interdental cleaning, and product choices, to each patient's specific needs, dexterity, and lifestyle.
Han's background spans Vietnamese traditions, time in Oregon, and now life in Texas, an eclectic mix that informs her sensitivity to diverse needs and communication styles. She is comfortable discussing culturally relevant dietary habits, lifestyle factors, and oral-health practices in ways that respect each patient's background, using clear language and practical demonstrations rather than jargon.
Outside the office, Han channels her creativity into baking, hikes to recharge, and travels with her husband. She shares her home with a playful Corgi and a gentle Cavachon, and lives by the motto: "Always do your best. In God, we trust."
Kim brings a warm, grounded presence to every appointment. A native Texan who spent meaningful years in Arkansas, she blends southern hospitality with steady clinical skills learned over a decade of hands-on experience. Patients often notice her calm manner first: she has a talent for putting people at ease and explaining procedures in clear, practical terms.
Since joining Dr. Dunn's practice in 2011, Kim has been an integral member of the clinical team. Her clinical philosophy centers on prevention, thorough cleanings, early detection of oral health concerns, and tailored home-care plans. She balances efficiency with attention to detail, performing complete hygiene assessments while using gentle techniques to minimize discomfort.
Kim believes good education is collaborative and straightforward. She avoids unnecessary jargon, using plain language and short demonstrations to reinforce key points. For parents, she creates approachable teachable moments; for adults, she prioritizes clear explanations about risk factors and how preventive habits relate to long-term outcomes. Ever curious, Kim keeps current with evolving best practices in hygiene, infection control, and patient communication.
Outside the office, Kim is a devoted mom to a daughter and boy/girl twins, and credits her own mother as her steadiest example of dedication and kindness.

Brandy has been an integral part of the practice since 2013, directing the flow of patient care and ensuring each visit runs smoothly. As Practice Administrator, she manages scheduling, coordinates with clinical staff, and oversees front-office operations so clinical teams can concentrate on delivering excellent dentistry.
Patients often notice Brandy's impact long before they meet the dentist. She works to make sure messages are returned promptly, appointment options are realistic for busy families, and patients understand their next steps.

She supports onboarding, identifies process improvements, and mentors newer team members, modeling effective communication and organized task management. She prioritizes ongoing training in privacy practices, patient communication, and office technologies.

Adela has been an essential member of the clinical team for more than thirty years, providing steady, skillful support to clinicians and comfort to patients. Her long tenure reflects a depth of practical knowledge around chairside procedures, infection control, and patient preparation that only years of focused practice can produce.
Her technical responsibilities span several important areas of in-office dentistry. Adela fabricates and fits temporary restorations, assists during crown and bridge procedures, and prepares cosmetic mockups that let patients visualize potential improvements. In cosmetic cases, she helps set up shade guides, supports the dentist during try-ins, and assists with provisional adjustments. She also collaborates closely with dental laboratories, communicating measurements and observations that matter for a quality final restoration.
Adela first trained in dental assisting while stationed in Frankfurt, Germany, and her international experience has informed how she approaches patient care. Living and working in different places gave her an appreciation for diverse patient needs and taught her to adapt quickly to varied clinical environments.
Family is central to Adela's life. She is a mother of three and a proud grandmother to six, and hosting family gatherings is one of her greatest joys. She's also known around the office for her traditional Mexican cooking and her unexpected hobby: modern sports fencing.
As a skilled dental assistant, Reema supports clinicians across a wide range of procedures, from routine exams to restorative work. Her role requires a blend of technical precision and attentiveness: she prepares the operatory, maintains sterilization protocols, hands instruments efficiently, and helps ensure each appointment runs smoothly.
She is experienced with digital radiography, chairside suction and irrigation, and the instruments used in restorative, periodontal, and minor surgical procedures. Beyond instrument handling, Reema plays a key role in patient preparation and education, explaining steps, answering procedural questions, and reinforcing post-appointment care so patients leave informed and confident. She follows strict infection-control practices and adheres to safety guidelines that protect both patients and team members.
Patient comfort is a cornerstone of Reema's work. She recognizes that visits can provoke anxiety, and she prioritizes clear, compassionate communication, offering extra time for questions, helping a child feel at ease, or coordinating with the dentist to modify treatment pacing. She views ongoing learning as vital, staying current with clinic protocols and participating in in-office training.
Originally from Pakistan, Reema brings a global perspective and a strong sense of family to her work. She credits her husband, son, and daughter as her primary source of motivation, with faith and family at the center of everything she does.
Sabrina joined the team in November 2022 and quickly became the steady, approachable presence patients meet when they arrive. As the first point of contact, she balances a welcoming demeanor with the practical responsibilities of a busy dental front desk: greeting visitors, checking people in, and making sure each appointment flows smoothly.
Day-to-day front-desk work includes scheduling, appointment confirmations, and coordinating with the clinical team to accommodate urgent needs. Sabrina is adept at managing a dynamic calendar, matching appointment lengths to treatment types, and minimizing wait times. She supports patient intake processes and ensures records are accurate and current, with careful attention to HIPAA guidelines and proper documentation. When the unexpected happens, a last-minute change, a delayed procedure, or a phone request, she steps in to triage and reassign resources thoughtfully.
Outside the office, Sabrina channels creativity and patience into hobbies that mirror her approach to patient care. She has a particular knack for baking (her banana pudding is a favorite among friends and family) and enjoys tending her growing collection of houseplants.
Sabrina became a parent in February 2024, which has deepened her empathy and reinforced the importance of patience, flexibility, and the small comforts that make a big difference for busy families.
Megan brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to the front desk. After stepping away from dentistry for a season to focus on her family, she came back with a clearer sense of why compassionate, predictable care matters. That renewed perspective informs everything she does, whether greeting a first-time patient, coordinating appointments, or quietly smoothing the details that make an appointment feel effortless.
Megan believes trust begins with communication. She prioritizes listening first, learning a patient's concerns, past experiences, and preferences before offering solutions or scheduling. Her communication style is intentionally straightforward and kind; she explains procedures and appointment logistics without jargon, and uses reassuring language and steady pacing when someone is nervous. Small adjustments, like offering a quiet waiting area or extra time to complete forms, are part of how she personalizes care.
Her organizational strengths support efficient, accurate scheduling, patient records, and administrative workflows. She follows established protocols around confidentiality and stays composed when challenges arise, prioritizing clear next steps and timely communication.
Outside work, Megan studies dog training and animal behavior, focusing on positive reinforcement, an interest that has sharpened her observational skills and her ability to read subtle signs of stress in nervous patients. She enjoys time with her son and caring for animals, especially cats.
