High Tech Dental Care Increases Patient Comfort, Early Diagnosis & Supports the Prevention of Dental Disease

High tech dental care makes it easy for patients to take the best care of their teeth and gums. Easy, digital technology makes dental appointments more comfortable and efficient than ever before. The use of advanced technology at Advanced Dental Care of Las Colinas makes it possible for you to not only have a more pleasant dental experience, but also a clearer understanding of your overall dental health.

Digital X-Rays

Digital radiography (x-ray) offers the clearest images possible instantly. Digital x-rays are more efficient and help reduce waiting time for patients during a dental exam or treatment. In addition, radiation exposure with digital x-rays is much lower than with traditional analog radiography. Although analog x-rays are safe, when performed properly, Dr. Dunn believes that the reduced radiation exposure that comes with digital x-rays is best for his patients.

iTero® Digital Impressions

Nobody likes having an impression taken for a crown, whitening tray or other dental work. The iTero uses digital 3D imaging to scan your dental structures, creating the most precise and accurate digital impression available. The best part for patients is no messy goop or impression trays in your mouth. This technology saves time and discomfort from taking traditional impressions. In addition, dental appliances and restorations made using iTero digital impressions almost always fit more perfectly than traditional methods.

Intraoral Camera

Now you can see what your dentist sees. Using digital intraoral photography, Dr. Dunn can take a picture of what he sees going on with your teeth, gums, and bite. Because understanding your dental condition is important, Dr. Dunn relies upon these digital images to help provide you with a clearer understanding of your dental health and first hand visualization of specific dental problems in order to help you make the best possible decisions about your dental treatment.
